Richard,
Put "Griffiths Valuation" into Google, and you will find
an explanation.
Also, have you explored various parts of

Hello,
I am looking for some help in locating the Hackett family of my
great-grandfather, Michael O'Meara HACKETT, born Cashel, Ireland on 13th
June 1852.
He had a relative, Michael O'MEARA, who emigrated and in 1891 was living in
Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia.
Anybody have any connection or any information?
Thanks,
Richard.

Hello! I am trying to research information on my Great-Great Grandparents... I know that their names were Mary Quilty and William Hackett, one was from County Cork and the other from County Down (we believe)... I am at a loss, I do not know their D.O.B. or any other information except that they had two children, a boy and girl, the boy was Joseph Hackett - I was never told the girls name. Joseph was born on 10/17/1892 in Ireland, and he eventually came to America with his Sister, we were told they lived in
