What To Eat
Some Sensible Suggestions That Should Be Posted
in Every Household
Aristonite, writing in that excellent gastronomic
journal, What to Eat, makes a few sensible suggestions
in regard to the diet that ought to be posted in every
household. He says that the healthiest and purest lives
comes from those who d not eat meat before the age of 15.
Potatoes, sliced thin and fried, are indigestible. While

I show Ephraim Hackett [with same parents, birthdate and place] married
to a Molly Taylor. My records also show that Ephraim died 1832 in
Tamworth, NH. I have no info on his children.
I also show an Ephraim Hackett married to Sybil Hughes [same date and
place as you show], but have not been able to connect him to a Hackett
line.
Can anyone else help out on this?

I'm looking for information for my grandmother, Alice Hackett. Her
father's name is Robert but can't find any reference to her mother. She
was born in the USA but her parents were born in Ireland. She married
Patrick Meehan, born in Canada. They had 12 children, 8 of whom were
alive on the 1900 Census. The birth certificates that I've been able to
get show some of the children's births around 4th St. in Jersey City,
NJ, some of the other births were in Hoboken, NJ.

Does anyone have ANYTHING on Merton A. Hackett of Coventry,
Chenango County, NY?? In the 3/30/1911 Chenango American
Newspaper it was reported that he married Lillian M. Moore of Greene.
She is buried in Sylvan Lawn in Greene, but what happened to him?
I think he was my Grandfather's brother.
Many thanks!
