Hi all. It was just brought to my attention by a list member that some of the email that is gatewayed from the message boards were from addresses that don't exist. Unfortunately, I haven't been watching the lists close enough and those messages slipped past me. It's not that the addresses from the senders don't work, it's that the messages were actually spam. Because messages posted on the message boards are automatically gatewayed the the corresponding lists, there is nothing I can do about them. Th

Haskel Hackett is found in the 1850 Pollockville, Jones, NC census with wife Tamer and children. I next find Tamer in 1860 Montgomery, AL census with children and married to Frederick Taylor on 7/27/1854 in Jones Co., NC. I can only assume that Haskel had died prior to 1854. All of these records indicate Haskel and Tamer are white. Thomas the son of Haskel and Tamer is my g grandfather. Any help would be much appreciated. Helen
