1 enclose the most recent report on Simon Hadley, and photographs of the
site on Hammond Lane and Bow St. The site is currently occupied by the
Maguire & Patterson Match
"...There's still a problem in locating the Book of Family lists: Dublin
Meeting 1669-1774 (internal ref. MMII M11 D.71 7E). There should be a
micro-film copy in the N.L.I., but I haven't found a reference number yet.
I intend to return to the the National Library tomorrow, and check Hayes
Manuscript Sources, which may is a more complete list of all pre 1975
holdings.
I have had *some* success with research. There was no reference to the
Hadleys in the 1663-67 Hearth Money Rolls for Dublin city. Howeve

keep a Hadley list for all of us to use.
I have not seen a post since I subscribed, is there anyone out there.

My fellow Hadley researchers,
In October while attending the Hadley Society annual reunion, I was
elected president of the Society for the next 2 years. This has
traditionally been a ceremonial position with a few administrative
responsibilities. I have thought about how I might help lead the efforts of
the Society and contribute in a more meaningful way.
First, I want to help Terry McLean get the back log of submissions added to
our data base.
Also I would like to get a campaign going to collect
