Hello Everyone
Just a note to let you know that if you attempted to
post anything to the list over the last 12 hours you
will need to repost. The list servers were down and
any posts that were sent over that 12 hour period were
lost. Everything is back up and running now so if you
sent a post today (Nov 18th) and didn't see it go
thru, you will need to send it again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks

I am looking for ANY information about the possible origins of Henderson Hale. He married Arrabella Cooke in 1847 in Franklin Co., NC, moved briefly to Texas and came back during the 1850's and died in NC in 1905. Census records all list his parents as born in NC.

Looking for ANY information on Joshua Hilliard Hale. He served in the CSA and then sort of disappeared. I have seen a court document from about 1890 that indicated that he was living in GA but can find no proof of that. He may have married a Mary Harris from Granville Co.

Can anyone help Norma out
She isn't a subscriber to the list so if you can help
her you will need to email her.
I believe that there is a typo in her email address
and that her address is
joseph@netscape.net
with netscape instead of netscope. I could be wrong.
Thanks
Marie

Dear List Members
As some of you may have noticed Rootsweb had been experiencing problems
with the lists2 server that this list is on. It was down for maintenance
and a message about it was posted on the Rootsweb Helpdesk Page
http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/
It is back up and running now so if you have posted messages they should be
coming thru. If you don't see them come thru over the weekend you might
want to re-post.
Best of Luck in your Research
