Found out Charles Hanks-first husband to Bertha Surface--married in Oronogo November 21, 1901.
Had four children--Leander, Eulah, Ruth and Roy.
Any info would be appreciated.
Think C. Hanks is buried around Colby or Gem Ks.

I am looking for information on my husband's family surname of Hanks. His line was from Kentucky possibly Breckinridge County and also Indiana. I am looking for information on a Jacob Hanks who was born ca 1833 and was married to a Polly 'Mary" Robbins. He was his gggrandfather. Their son was William Burrell Hanks was my husband's ggrandfather and he was married to a Sarah Alice Goodman. His grandfather was William Jacob Hanks and he was married to a Anna May Clark.
