I am wondering if there was a special reason for using the name Arthur
in conjunction with the Hobson. I ask that because my father's name was
Arthur Hobson and his father, my grandfather, was also named Arthur
Hobson. My grandfather's parents' names were Ernest and Ada Alice
(Stephan) Hobson. Ernest came to the U.S in 1892 and Ada Alice came in
1893 with my grandfather Arthur and his brothers Wilfrid and Ora. they
came from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
