I'm looking for the maiden name of Mrs Minerva Ann Oliver who married Thomas Fitzhugh Bryarly in 1842 in Red River Co Texas. I suspect she was Minerva Ann Hodge who married Malachi E Oliver in 1830 in Tennessee. Living with Minerva and the Bryarly family in the 1850 Census were William Oliver, age 17 and John Oliver,

It is very possible we are related.
My great-great-grandfather was James Hodges (In later years he often left the
's' off).
He stated in the 1850 Dooly County, GA Census that he was born in North
Carolina.
In 1850, he was 51-years old and living with a 26-year old wife and children
by Nancy. Apparently his first wife died, at least that's the story that I got
from one of my great-uncles in the 1950s.
I believe Nancy (White) was born around Spartanburg.
All of James and Nancy's children were born in SC.
