My ancestors, Joseph & Barbara (Brawley) Hoge, had a son, William, who
married Matilda Coulter in 1827. William & Matilda were both born in what's
now Bledsoe Co., TN. and later moved to Missouri. If you think they might be
your William James Hoge's parents, let me know.
I have lots of information on both the Hoges & Coulters squirrelled away
somewhere, but it might take me a while to find it. Filing is not my strong
point .

Does anyone have information on the ancestors of Willam James Hoge? According to the 1880 U.S. Census for Uvalde County, Texas, he was born in Missouri and his parents were born in Tennessee. .He is also enumerated in the Middlebrook household in the 1860 U.S. Census for Karnes County, Texas.

Kenworthy Hoge Birth: Dec 1879 in Mt Pleasant, Jefferson Co Ohio Death: Sex: M Father: J. Clayton Hoge b. 1 Aug 1853 Mother: Sabina Mansfield I am assuming this Kenworthy Hoge was my great grandfather, since my grandfather was Kenworthy Mansfield Hoge and my mom recalls the names of this Kenworthy's sisters, Clara, et. al.
After this, I do not know who was married to the Kenworthy cited here, but if he was my great grandfather, then he had a son, Kenworthy Ma
