The Holder siblings, Viollatta, Perry, Jesse B., William (Will), Elizabeth (Bettie), Missouri Anna and Sarah Wilmarie were born between 1838 and 1861. Joseph Bassett Holder HOLDER, Joseph Bassett, zoologist, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, 26 October, 1824. He studied at the Friends' school in Providence, Rhode Island, and then took a course in the Harvard medical school.

Early this week I met a new, very nice Holder cousin in the library of the very small town of Erin, Houston County, Tennessee. She is very interested in finding out more about her Holder ancestors but is not on line and has very limited local resources.
