John making a trip up the Tennessee River for the purpose of establishing an outpost in Miss. This was during the time that the southern part of what is now the US was owned by Spain. He was working

20. Anna Maria Barbara and Nicholas Holder [1]
I am descended from Christopher Muench and Anna Maria Barbara Holder who were married on 8 Mar 1757 by Rev. John Casper Stoever. I am trying to identify her parents. There was a Nicholas Holder in the same region at the same time. It is not unreasonable to assume that there was a relation between the two; unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any proof thereof. Does anyone have any information concerning these two Holders? Richard Emlin Reed remlinr@earthlink.net http://home.earthlink.net/~remlinr 1847
