Hi all! A message, via the the message boards, has been circulating some of these list about the dog tags website of American GIs during Vietnam. First, this site does appear to be legitimate, (www.founddogtags.com), but I wanted to let everyone know that cities in Vietnam are notorious for selling things that supposedly belonged to American GI's. 3. New site for the genealogy depository coming soon [1]

Hello all! This is just to let you know we have a new website. Please be aware that the site will not be up for at least 2-3 weeks. Hi all! The Hupp and Kern sites are now up and running! The address for Hupp is http://hupp.gendepository.com The site has also been updated (a little!). On the rootsweb site, only the OH census was part of the site, now it includes IA, KS, OH, OK, OR, and coming soon in WV The address for Kern is http://kern.gendepository.com Nothing really has been updated here except for a link to books I have linked on my site by and about the surname Kern. 6. guidelines for submitting your lines for the website [1]

Hi all. Looks like I need to give some guidelines on how to submit information. 1. I can't post copyrighted material unless you hold the copyright or you received permission from the copyright holder (of which I need to get a copy of the written permission for legal purposes). What I suggest if you want to submit information that has been copyrighted, like in a book, is to take what is relevant to the site and put it in your own words and then let me know where the info came from. Ok, apparently there has been a misunderstanding. I am not talking about moving the lists. They will stay put. I'm only talking about my website which is currently hosted on Rootsweb.
