I have found Andrew Hupp in 1877 or 1878 in northcentral Nebraska where the Keya Paha runs into the Niobrara. He and another man (William Fuchs) built a house there. They were from Decorah, Iowa. from "The River That Runs" by Harold Hutton
There is no other information in the book about him.

be graduating in May with my MA in public history. Once I've graduated, as of
