Sorry list to send yet another message to the list, but I wanted to clarify
something since the majority of subscribers to all my lists are from AOL. I
used to have AOL and learned a lot about how it works.
A very valid point was made about AOL having a spam box as well as an inbox,
but I found out it doesn't work quite as well as all that. It's true that
possible spam is filtered into a spam box, BUT if anyone actually says "yes,
that is spam" and marks it as spam, whether it's in the inbox or spambox
Hello all! While I'm still able to email AOL, I wanted to send a few thoughts
to my AOL and cs.com subscribers.
Despite all the problems with AOL and CompuServ blocking mail that is not
actually spam, they are becoming more and more agressive in blocking "unwanted"
mail. Although that can definitely be a good thing, it's a very bad thing if
you are subscribed to ANY lists not on AOL or CompuServ servers. An example
this, Dick Eastman who write the highly acclaimed genealogy newsletter

I am wondering if this Nathaniel Hupp is the son of Isaac Hupp, born 1825 in
Ohio, who is the son of John Hupp and Sarah Davis? If so, would anyone have
any information on Sarah Davis' parents? Have come to a complete dead end
in trying to find out which Davis' might be her parents from Virginia.
