I am reasonably new to the list and am researching the names
of -
PETTERD (PITTERD - PETTER)
FORESTER (were supposedly Coach Builders)
believed to be Huguenots. I do not know a great deal about them but was told that there is a reference in a book by Samuel Smiles "History of Huguenots".
I have tried to obtain a copy at the local library but to no
avail. Could someone please point me in the right direction.
