Hi Bev,
I have had to follow these old vague trails before. As far as
looking for proof that Margaret Jameson was the daughter of Thomas
Jameson, have you tried to find a probate for her father. Most times
it will list the children, including the daughter's married name. Of
course you would need to know about when are where Thomason Jameson
died.

According to her death certificate her fathers name was Patrick Galvin and he was born in Ireland. Her mothers maiden name was OBrien and she was also born in Ireland. I only know of one sibling - a sister named Anna but I dont know when or where she was born.
I found the following Patrick Galvin in Davenport on the 1856 State Census transcriptions but without Mar

That's why it's good to include age + nativuity when we post. People are not
always enumerated how & where we expect them to be. Dick

Could some one help me with the 1900 Iowa census for a Catherine Bonner she was married to Wesley Bonner the last place I know of them was in Woodbury Co. in 1880 Thank You
Richard
Since he doesn't appear to be in 1900 Scott co Steven, How would we identify
him if we found him. Usually a good idea to include age & nativiy with our
posts. People are not always where we expect them to be or enumerated as we
anticipate them to be. Dick

The 1895 Iowa Special census is hardly indexed. Just an FYI so you won't feel ignored if you don't get a response. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky.
Otherwise you could order the microfilm for Woodbury Co. for that census and go thru the county yourself. J

For a time he lived in Cincinnati OH . His first wife Jane Titus is buried in Cincinnati,OH. His second wife was Margurette born in IN in 1829. He was a real estate agent in 1880.
He may have been known as N.G. Hedges Nathan G Hedges

Hi Cheryl,
No problem. I really thought it was a match though, since this Mary
Dunlap couldn't read, write or speak English. Did anyone find her for
you yet? If not, I'll look again, if you like. I planned to look for
her in the 1910 census anyway. I'll let you know what I find.
