Hi Bev, I have had to follow these old vague trails before. As far as looking for proof that Margaret Jameson was the daughter of Thomas Jameson, have you tried to find a probate for her father. Most times it will list the children, including the daughter's married name. Of course you would need to know about when are where Thomason Jameson died. Hello If someone has access to an index of the 1860 Census would you please look up Mary Galvin born ca. 1857-1859 in Davenport? According to her death certificate her fathers name was Patrick Galvin and he was born in Ireland. Her mothers maiden name was OBrien and she was also born in Ireland.
