Does anyone have the 1860 census for Wapello county that could look up
Frances Bates and his wife Sarah? They would have at least one child Samuel
Nelson "Nels" about 3 years old. Would appreciate any information you could
come up with.
Thanks

Does anyone have access to the marriage records of Tama or Blackhawk Co.? I

I am searching for a half- sister to my grandfather and my

They had a daughter - I would like to know her name. They should be in the

I have never heard of this so I do not know if it works or not. However, I
also have outlook express and adding !000 as a new contact without an email
address was no problem whatsoever. Hopefully this is not a hoax. There are
far too many of those and I would recommend a good virus program and
updating on a regular basis.

I am not sure if this is who you are looking for. You included a lot of

Dear Shelli,
I really appreciate people like yourself. It was so nice of you finding the
Fannins for me in the Iowa Census.
I am still trying to find Helen R. Fannin, widow of George E. Fannin, who
died in 1897 at the age of 26 in Lee County, Iowa. If you discover her,
please let me know. My goal is to find a living relative of this lost
branch of my family.
Excuse my ignorance, but I don't know if the 1930 Census is open to the
public or not. If it is, and, if you have access, could you look for

I would appreciate a lookup for a relative in the 1870 census of Scott County
for a George T. Shaw. He would have been single as he didn't marry until
1872. Probably in his 20's. He was born in Vermont and this is all I know
of the man.
Thanks,

I'm trying to find census information for my 2nd ggparents, Isaac Clark, b.
1834, Ohio, and Emerette Gage, b. unknown. I believe they were married in
1869 in Elgin, Fayette County, Iowa. Emerette's parents were William and
Betsy(Morse)Gage.
William and Betsy were living in Boone County, Illinois in 1850, and in
1880, were in Montcalm County, Michigan, but most of their children were
born in Iowa, the last in 1875.
I haven't been able to find Isaac Clark or Emerette Gage in the 1880 Census,

Here's what is found in an INDEX. Perhaps the District and page number will
provide another lookup volunteer with access to the census itself to find
the whole family.

Pat,
The 1930 will not be available to the public until April 2002. Here in
the United States they are kept from the public for 72 years to protect the
privacy of the people named in the census.
I wonder if Hellen Fannin had remarried by 1910 or had possibly died
herself. and that is why we could not find her. You might want to check to
see if Iowa has a marriage index and a death index and look for her in those
records.
I wish you success,
Shelli

Does anyone have any info on the Russell family in Lake City, IA around 1877?
Would appreciate a census lookup for 1890 & 1900 for any Russell's listed.
Especially looking for Clarence H. Russell.
Can anyone also tell me what county Lake City is in? Is it Calhoun or Greene
County? I would very much like the address of the local library of what ever
county it is in. Also would like to know if I can locate a birth certificate
or announcement in any newspaper for 1877 for Clarence H. Russell. I bel

If you wouldn't mind, I would like to know his, his wife's, and whatever
children were listed (at that
time) if that's possible.
