this for a period of time.
If you are a descendant and want to be listed you can send your name and

I am looking for more information on my great grandfather, who I believe was
in the 30th Regiment of the Iowa Infantry. Searching the Civil War Soldiers
and Sailors System I have come up with two names that could be him. I know
that in 1860 US Census that he was living in Summitsville, Des Moines
Township, Lee County, Iowa. He was born in aprx 1831 in Norway. Of the names
listed below could someone with access to more information please do a

Thank you Sue, that seems to be him and this is more info than what I had,
he was 29 in the 1860 census and in Lee Co. At least now I know that he

Mustered Aug. 31, 1862. Mustered out June 5, 1865, Washington, D. C.

Lorraine,
Thelma Florence Sigler was born June 23, 1909 to Ira and Albia Sigler. I'm sure your 'Thetina' was a misinterpretation of the name 'Thelma', and your date was somehow off by a year. The 1910 U.S. Census for Newton Twp., Carr
