Good afternoon
Since we are a small list and pretty quiet was
wonder if everyone would be interested in doing a
roll call. Please put your surnames in the
Subject line and maybe include a little
information about those you are researching.
Thanks

Dear Listmembers,
You might know that the newspaper above was published between 1882 and about 1971 in Breda, IA and later in Wall Lake, IA.
Now I'm looking for issues of this newspaper between 1916 and 1971 and clippings of obituaries. I would appreciate your answer if you have those items.
The clippings can be send by Email (frisian@netins.net) or snail mail to my address (P. O. Box 269, Titonka, Iowa 50480-0269). In return I would send you a translation of the obituary/obituaries.
Thank you very much
Angie,
What MATTHIAS names are you looking for?
I married a Matthias.
Judy

Just wanted to say thanks to those of you involved in the planning. It
was very well organized, with plenty of visual interest.
I enjoyed seeing the look on the children's faces about homemade butter
on saltines. I remember that being a normal school snack at milktime in
the 60's.. Today's children, of course, are taught to avoid butter and
salt :-)
It was incredibly hot and those men and women who dressed in period
costumes certainly gave me a feel for what it must have been like back
then.

Hello again everyone,
After I e-mailed my request for information about the Boyce family in Bremer
County, my Internet Service Provider experienced problems with their e-mail
server and I lost all my incoming e-mail messages from late Monday afternoon
through Tuesday noon.
If by chance you responded to my Monday afternoon BOYCE request message
during that downtime, would you please resend it. Their e-mail server
appears to be working now.
Sue, I got your response that you e-mailed about 1:00 PM Tuesday.
Dear Bremer County List,
Just adding the names I am researching to the name call - DILGES, HERBENER.
