Chuck, as I've been scanning the Historic Newspapers Collection for items about DARROW TRUST & SAVINGS, I noticed that in the same business week that the bank closed its doors (July 20-24, 1925), Clarence DARROW was charged with contempt of court upon the opening of the famous Scopes evolution trial in Dayton, TN.

I am looking for the history of the Darrow Trust and Savings Bank( 1879), later the Darrow Brother Bank. In particular, I am looking for what became of the bank folowing it's incorporation in 1909.
I am a decendent of the A. K. Darrow family.
Thank you for your help.

I could not believe my eyes as I was reading this mornings paper (List). I
have been recently digging into the DREW data to learn more hopefully of the
JONES family.
Then I read this article by Stearn who mentions both MOON and Simeon DREW.
What a blessings. A MOON also mar into the JONES family. More than willing to
join in the fray and share what data I do have.

Hi Pat and Mike and members of the list, I have gotten a lot farther on this
family that I ever thought possible thanks to sites like this one, and the
help of people like Pat and Mike.
Please look at the records below from the Nashua paper it turns out I was
correct with the Drew family. Simeon Drew is my wife's GGreat Grandfather
buried at the Mount Auburn Cemetery by Colman SD so Pat if you have any
records on him please let me know.
H.O. Stearns was the father of Frank and I think he died before 1900
