I have been searching for a family in the Davis County area for some time, but now believe they were in Henry County. Can anyone look up a John Cadwallader family in the 1850 census. I have only two children; Rachel Ann, born 16 Mar 1832 (possibly in Mt. Pleasant) and Alma or Elma. John was married to a Belinda Spurrier. Rachel Ann married William Conaway/Conway in Henry County in 1855. Thank you very much.

3. 1852 State Census [1]

I have just been informed that there was an 1852 state census that may have info on my Conway family. Does anyone have access to this census. My Conaway family is supposed to be in Center Twp., probably page 40. William would have been about 22 at the time. I have never seen a state census so don't know how much information is on it. Perhaps my Cadwallader family is on it as well, as William Conway and Rachel Cadwallader married just three years later in Henry County. I would appreciate any help at all

6. Schirmer Surname [1]

I am looking for any information on the Schirmer surname connected with Barney and Nancy Schirmer whose children were born in Henry County, IA. Their children were Bill (possibly) William Schirmer, Thomas Edward Schirmer (went by Ed), Florence Schirmer, mary Schirmer and John Frank Schirmer. Barney's wife Nancy's maiden name was Holland.
