The Free Press Mount Pleasant, Henry, Iowa April 17, 1879 Obituary BARTON- Died on Friday afternoon, about 2 o'clock, at his residence a short distance south of this city, Joseph Barton, aged 81 years, 10 months and 28 days. He died very suddenly of heart disease. He had not enjoyed his usual vigor and strength for some weeks but was around attending as usual to his business, and on that day eat his dinner and was talking to his wife on the subject of death, when he was stricken down.
