Cathleen, I have found the public library in Keokuk to be a valuable resource when trying to find information on ancestors. The staff there has also been very helpful. Good luck! Fullenkamps, Vantigers, Esmeiers, etc. I've even found some Hellmans in recent reseach, do you have the History of Lee County, Iowa book?
