It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
Edith: There is an Arlington in Fayette County which has existed
there for many, many years. It was discussed in several messages
just yesterday on the IA State Roots List. It is located on Rt 187
north o Oelwein & Strawberry Point.

Dear Vicky,
I was interested in your query because of the mention of Arlington, Iowa, where my greatgrandparents lived for a time. (The Town of Arlington, in Montgomery County, Iowa, no longer exists.

Parents; Davis & Elenore "Nellie" Henry Fitzgerald (sev. sp). They moved

They issued 13 children, I come from the 3rd child, William Whitedise Fitz.
Wm. stayed in Hamilton CO., IL with his wife and children while his parents
and siblings (& their families) moved onto Linn Co., Ia.
The Fitzgerald family were farmers and moved around, a lot.
Dear Vicky,
I was interested in your query because of the mention of Arlington, Iowa,
where my greatgrandparents lived for a time. (The Town of Arlington, in
Montgomery County, Iowa, no longer exists. The railroad jogged, bypassing
the infant town of Arlington, and it never really developed.) I tried and
failed to find a cemetery in Montgomery County called Taylorsville
Cemetery. However, there is a town called Taylorsville in Fayette County,
Iowa, and that is where Livonia McDougall, daughter
