Searching for information on the family and ancestry of Ephraim T (Tyler) Lewis. He married (1) Hannah Davison on 8 Oct 1818 probably in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Tyler was listed on the 1820 and 1830 censuses of Venango Twp., Erie County, Pennsylvania. They moved to Illinois probably about 1831 or so and then to Linn County, Iowa in 1839. Children: Mary Lewis - 27 Oct 1819, died 17 Jul 1832 Nancy Lewis - 29 Apr 1821- married ????? or perhaps she died young. She may have married prior to the families

In the family bible of Ephraim T. Lewis and Hannah Davison of Linn County, Iowa is a listing of a death of an Elizabeth Phillips. The entry reads as follows: "ELIZABETH PHILLIPS departed this life April the 3d A. D. 1839 about 2 oclock in the morning" I am in hopes that someone from the Phillips family can identify this Elizabeth Phillips.
