I have some questions about the old age pension list.
The old age pension list on the website has my ancestor's name, address listed as Melrose Route 3), birth date and place, then lists the parents names and then states Jackson Township.
Another ancestor, has her name, no address, birthdate and place, parents, and then City of Melrose.
Can I assume from this that when the list states Jackson Twp. that the named person lives outside the City of Melrose, (i.e. on Route 3) and that when it states City of M
I know I'm reaching, but I have a Anderson Piper buried in Troy Cemetery.
Is there anyone who can get me a polaroid & etching for cash money.
Searching PIPER family
Looking for descendants of Daniel McDonald Ragan and Lydia Ann Shrader who married 22 Apr 1874 in Lucas Co., Iowa. They are buried in the Russell Cemetery, Lucas Co., Iowa.
Their children, as far as I know, were:
1. John Gilbert born abt. 1876, married Minnie Ann FARLEE. John Gilbert and Minnie Ann had at least two children, Edna May Ragan, and Blanche Ragan. Edna May Ragan married John GRANT. Edna May and John had at least one daughter, Edna Ragan GRANT.
2. Cora Isabelle born abt. 1879, married a HOWIE
