Does anyone have any information on David Draucker or his family? He was from the Muscatine area and fought in the Cavil War in the 11th Iowa Company E.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a long shot.
My great great grandfather was John M. Selak. His parents were Albert and
Elizabeth Selak. They were immigrants from Bohemia. The rest of my family
names are English so I am very fond of the Selak name!
On their way to the West in the 1850s they appear to have stopped in Iowa.
John is recorded as being born on June 28, 1858 in the 1901 Canadian census,
and on his tombstone as June 23, 1858. It has come to me from somebody's
notes that John was born in Moscow, Iowa. Can anybody help
Hi,
Does anyone know of a "Rev. August Lemkau" circa 1900? He was a minister of a
church in Muscatine. I'm afraid I don't have the name of the church. His wife
first name was Ida Rebecca, her last name is unknown. I was told there was a
function that honored the ministers of this church and August Lemkau was
amongst those celebrated. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Any
trivia is very welcomed =)
Thanks,
Cindi
I am looking for any connection to the Woodward family that lived in
