This was an organization of German American immigrants living in and around Scott County who had fought for Schleswig-Holstein independence from Denmark from 1848 to about 1850. Good morning, Apparently this particular Hahn family isn't related directly to the ones in Davenport. Charles W. Hahyn (born Apr 1881 in Clinton, Iowa) is the son of Mantus Milton Hahn, born Sep 1854 in Moore, Northampton County, PA. His father was Simon Hahn b. 1822 of Northampton County, PA. Evidentially, they are descendants of Simon Hahn who emigrated to PA in 1776 from Bohemia. All of their descendants would be in Missouri. :-( Sorry I can't be of more help, but it did help to sort out a few Hahn
