I don't know if we're related, but there was a Heinrich HORST who married a
STEIN or STEEN, that was related to my family. They lived in Ellsworth Co.,
KS for a while. Do you know of any such people?
Also, I am related to several SCHNEEKLOTHs, who married into WIESE and
STOLTENBERG.

My G Grandmother Mary Jane Baker and her parents were in Davenport in 1866
when Mary Jane Baker married Charles L. Hoffman, They subsequently moved to
Audubon County, IA in about 1871. Mary Jane's Father was Robert Baker and
her mother was Liza Owen(s) Baker. Robert and his family also moved to
Audubon Co. about the same time. The Bakers were from Carlton Scroop,
Lincolnshire, England.
I do not know if there were other related Bakers in the Davenport area at

Elizabeth Knox BAKER. I believe this this Nathan lived in Johnson County, IL
and later moved to Pope County, IL and was buried in Pope County, IL.
