I am looking for an obituary or death notice for Richard Leroy Smith. Richard was born in MN 1 Mar 1918. He Moved to Idaho around 1935. According to the SSDI he died 5 July 2003 in Saint Maries, Benewah Co., ID. Thanks in advance for any help.

It was probable in the StMaries Gazette Record paper it came out every Fri.
Also there is a wonderful archives in Boise ID for ID records.
The paper is still in StMaries and I believe some records are kept in Moscow ID
I grew up in StMaries but
If you contact the St. Maries paper they would probably be most helpful. I contacted them reference my Grandmothers obit from the 1920's and it was found in their paper archives. You also might contact the funeral home they also were very helpful.

I would like to find the place of burial for Isaac H. Atkinson, who died in St. Maries on 08/21/1922. I am trying to determine if he is the same Isaac H. Atkinson who served in Company I, 33rd Indiana Infantry during the Civil War.

Both settled in St. Maries abt 1900. Listed in 1910 and 1930 U.S. Census. "Willie" was a farmer. b. in Mo to W.J. Chase and Nancy Lorton. I don't believe they had any children. He may have died in St. Maries abt 1935 and buried in Washington where his wife had relatives.
