Wilson Brown born 1785 in NC, lived in Gibson County, TN in 1828, came to the area around Beaver Praire in Bond County by 1832 and died there in 1850. He came to Bond County with children William Newburn, Betsy, Martha and Calvin, whose mother I think had died. When he arrived in Bond County he was married to Sarah Jenkins who bore him the following children; Marion born in 1830, Charles born in 1832, Robert born about 1837 and Jane born about 1839. Anyone know location of Mt Pleasant cemetery? GGgrandfather John M Hampton & wife Phebe were both buried there in 1889 according to death cert. They lived near Sorento and the undertaker was from Sorento. Uncle took me to a cemetary southeast of Sorento but we couldn't locate graves. Not sure if we had wrong cemetery or bad luck finding stones. Any help?
