Please clarify Joseph's estimated date of death. Are you speaking of Joseph Milam who was in the 1900 East Fork Township census at age 43, widowed, with sons Alfred, 12, Lewis, 8, and Floyd 7? 6. Re: [ILCLINTO] New Info on Schleper Family - Looking for Christina Boyce [1]
A Schleper family lived on a farm outside of Trenton, IL on old Route 50 East of town towards Aviston. One of the bad curves on the road might have been called the Schleper curve. I might be wrong-it might be the Oblinger curve, but the farms were next door, I think. One Schleper girl was married to Oliver Emig (she's and he are deceased) and another is in the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Chrst Order (convent) based in Donellson, Indiana. The sister is Sister Georgejean working as a Chaplain at Carlyle

Illinois marriages are at http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/marrsrch.html I put Wardlaw in the Brides Name and left it at Statewide, and saw Nancy, but the timing isn't right for your Nancy. Bond County is next door to Clinton County, so that would have been logical. Then I tried Gray, Na and Gray, Marg and didn't see anything there that I could recognize. Perhaps something will look familiar to you. Hopefully someone will be researching this family, too. -----Original Message----- From: ilclinto
