Pat, O.E.S. is the Order of the Eastern Star, the female version of Masonry, or the Masonic Order. There are many chapters in IL and the US. You have to have a male relative in the Masons to belong to the Eastern Star. Besides the mens organizations, the AF&AM, their are children's groups as well as the Shriners. OES stands for Order of the Eastern Star. It is one of the women's organizations that is affiliated with the Masonic Lodge. Let me know if I can help you further.
