Pat,
O.E.S. is the Order of the Eastern Star, the female version of Masonry,
or the Masonic Order. There are many chapters in IL and the US. You
have to have a male relative in the Masons to belong to the Eastern
Star.
Besides the mens organizations, the AF&AM, their are children's groups
as well as the Shriners. You can find info on the web about all these
groups.
