1. Bloody Williamson [1]
My brain just woke up and read the emails. Bloody Williamson may very well have a new name. I remember seeing Charlie and the Shawneetown Dame in the Prison Museum in Benton this summer. I ordered my Bloody Williamson from Amazon.com... I've got an old hard cover copy but I wanted one that I could write in, mark up, track the ADAMS family in... The blurb on the back cover reads: A best seller in southern Illinois since its initial publication in 1952, now available for the first time in a paperback e

16. Flannigan F.C.I. [1]
Mike, Your lookin for a booger bear and there aint any. The Thompson Porter Lampley b. 24 Feb 1848, is the grandson of Kizziah (Whiteside) Lampley, not the son. The above T. P. Lampley was a son of William P. b. abt. 1824, IL. and Mary Jane (Ice) Lampley. William P. Lampley was the son of Thomas/Thompson P. Lampley b. 1786, NC. and Kizziah (Whiteside) Lampley. It appears that while doing my Flannigan family research I've turned up two unknown sons (Thompson Porter Lampley and James Ice Lampley) of Wm.

Sarah Jane "Sally" WEBB - 2nd child of Lazarus and Nancy CREEK WEBB This is somewhat preliminary and is in the process of being checked; Barney Taylor and Marge Bauer have both put lots of effort into getting this line in order. It has been a wild one, and there are still many, many questions. I've included up to grandchildren - because this is where the fun really begins trying to straighten it out! The 1894 book has some errors with regard to this line -- been difficult getting it fixed. The Lazarus

Montreville FITTS bought land in Frankfort Township and put up a store on top of a hill on the Shawneetown Kaskaskia Trail. Sometime after 1837 the store was moved across the road and remained until after 1900. A grist mill was established. Fitts' Hill Post Office was established July 20, 1857 and served the neighborhood until July 31, 1899. Today the road is built on the half section line leading to East fork church at Greenville. I had come down the chimney with presents to give, and to see just who in this home did live. I looked all about, a strange sight I did see, no tinsel, no presents, not even a tree. No stocking by the mantel, just boots filled with sand, on the wall hung pict
