I get so confused trying to figure out the Akin line. I'm doing fairly well, but I have a Katherine, sometimes spelled Catherine, Akin who married John W Ross. Her birth and death dates are 11 July 1854-Sep 21 1935. I thought I had finally connected her as Walter S Akin's daughter, but now I don't believe that's right. A

I need help on this one...
Does anyone know anything about the family of William P. Kell(e)y, or his wife Malinda Jane Sneed. He also had two siblings of his he was raising at one time in Franklin county, Ill. they were Margaret Kelly & Joseph Kelly. I believe William P. was the one who began putting another (e) in Kelley. I believe they only lived in Franklin county between 1864 and 1867.

The Kelleys and Sneeds were from Hamilton County......they must have
slipped across the border.
William Patterson Kelley , born 14 Jun 1833 in Greene County, TN, died
05 Feb 1885 in DeKalb County, MO; son of David and Rebecca McCoy Kelly.
William married Malinda Jane Sneed in Hamilton County circa 1866, they
had several children of whom I have records. William 1st married Rachel
Page. Malinda died in Piney, MO, circa 1926.
The Page and Sneed are my line, so I have that ancestry but nothing
