1. Re: [ILHAMILT-L] Webbs, Hendricks, Roundtree, Farris [1]
Joan, I did look through the Warren Co. marriage book. It has been about twenty years since I was working with your mother and I had last dug in Webb soil. I forgot that I had a listing in my Webb file that had Webb marriages in the State of Kentucky. Neither source had any Hendricks/Webb marriages in them. I noticed in Franklin Co. and in Hamilton Co. that there were no Hendricks marriages at all in the early years. It seems a bit strange since there were so many Warren Co. families who did com

I'm doing some research on my BILLINGS line (through Patsy BILLINGS BIGGERSTAFF) and am trying to figure out the BILLINGS' who were in Hamilton Co. Here's who I'm looking at ... Henry BILLINGS m. 1823 to Peggy KIMSEY. Who were Peggy's parents? Where did Henry and Peggy go after the marriage? Arden BILLINGS m. 1823 to Mary COVER. Edith Johan has to be the daughter of Robert Willis Johan and Frances Snow Allen. They were married Sept 11, 1892. Their children were, Oscar, Edith, Robert Jr. and Austin. I don't know her birthdate. I know Robert's faher Julius was a German immigrant and Robert was the only son, so she had to have been the daughter of Robert.
