Joan,
I did look through the Warren Co. marriage book. It has been about twenty
years since I was working with your mother and I had last dug in Webb soil.
I forgot that I had a listing in my Webb file that had Webb marriages in the
State of Kentucky. Neither source had any Hendricks/Webb marriages in them.
I noticed in Franklin Co. and in Hamilton Co. that there were no Hendricks
marriages at all in the early years. It seems a bit strange since there were
so many Warren Co. families who did com

Thanks to all who contributed info on Ida Mae Gibson and William Taylor.
Now... any one have any ideas on who:
1) the Mr. Friend was that Martha Ann Taylor married ?
2)the Hardesty that Ella Taylor married ?
3)whose the parents were of Vania Hawkins being referred to as a half-sister to Ida Mae Gibson and who the Hawkins was she married ???
If I understand this right it means that either William Robert Gibson or Martha Francis ? was married at least twice...do we have any idea which one? Any clues
Does anyone have any information on a William A. Lane, born 1850, son of
Moses and Sarah Minerva Lane. He also went by W. A. Lane. Sarah went
by Minerva Lane. William was born in Hamilton County in the Belle
Prairie area of Crouch township.
Was Spencer Lane an uncle of Moses Lane. Moses' first child, named
William A. Lane. Spencer passed away at the home of a William Lane in
Wayne County. But I think that was Spencer's son.
I am wondering if Moses father was a William Lane and he was a brother

I'm doing some research on my BILLINGS line (through Patsy BILLINGS

Henry BILLINGS m. 1823 to Peggy KIMSEY. Who were Peggy's parents? Where
did Henry and Peggy go after the marriage?
Arden BILLINGS m. 1823 to Mary COVER. Arden was likely a brother of Patsy

Special request for migration info:
Does anyone have a family line that migrated to Hamilton Co,Illinois, from Tennessee about 1835-1838 ? I would be interested in what area of Tennessee they came from. Still trying to locate what area of Tennessee my Robert Gibson/Gipson and family came from. Originally he was from somewhere in NC...in Tennessee by at least 1807 ...remained there until at least 1827...all indications are that he and family arrived in Hamilton Co, IL abt 1838...give or take a year.

Hello Folks,
A couple of weeks ago the History Channel.com contacted me requesting permission to list "Yesterdays in Hamilton County, IL" on their "best of the web" link site and in return offered me a 10% discount for any product purchased by anyone who accesses their site through Yesterdays. I decided to do this in hopes of defraying some of my costs involved with the site. Don't worry there are no pop-up banners! Besides, I was honored that they selected our site and I did not contact them first. Ap

There were Hendricks families in Warren Co., KY, when the Webbs were there.
I have a book of marriages, but it isn't indexed. If nobody knows the

Ms. Cunningham:
It's a risk with such an unusual name as Johnson (ha ha), but what Johnsons' in Franklin and Hamilton county are you related to? My Johnsons' are (from present to past) Jerry>Paul Eugene>Thomas Madison>Thomas McClellan>William Wilson>Robert> and ultimately John Johnson. Didn't recognize the others, but just thought I'd check and say "Hey". Take care.

Thanks again to all of you who helped me out with directions for locating

very successful in terms of genealogy.
We managed to find Richardson Hill without much difficulty, and met my

stories about growing up in Dahlgren, and enjoyed the wonderful view of the
area from up on "The Hill". We were also able to find all the tombstones

Edith Johan has to be the daughter of Robert Willis Johan and Frances Snow

Their children were, Oscar, Edith, Robert Jr. and Austin. I don't know her

was the only son, so she had to have been the daughter of Robert.
