I found a Jacob Shinn in Ocean Co. New Jersey that matches you Jacob's birthyear. He was working for another family. Next to this family is a Benjamin Dhinn age 50 born in New Jersey. With him was a Sarah age 29, poss. a daughter, or young wife. This might be of help to you. This was in the 1850 census.

I am looking for cemetary/burial records for members of the Worster family who lived in the Hamilton, Hancock Co., IL area in the late 1890's (1898-1900). Specifically, burial information for Calvin Worster/Wurster, his wife Lucy Kelly-Worster, and son Washington Worster.
Thanks.
