Does any one have a picture or information on the Sycamore School
House? My grandmother said it is/was about one mile from the Old
Furnace. Over the hill from that school house is where some of my
ancestors lived and are buried in Old Lacy Hollow.

Ginger, sounds like a great idea. I already have too much planned for this
year, but if it becomes an annual event, we certainly would consider coming
in the future.
Thanks for a great list!

I found this Sally Dille on the LDS web site.
Can anyone identify this family?
Is this Sally Dille the same Sally Dille that married Asa Davis on 6 Sep
1804 in Belmont Co., OH.
I have more info on this family if we can make a connection.

Ginger,
I think it would be a great idea to include a tour of the historic sites in the
counties as well. This would give many an opportunity to visit places their
ancestors talk of. Some, such as Garden of Gods, High Knob Tower, etc are
difficult for outsiders of the county to find.

I would love to attend something like that. I come to Hardin County the
second week in June for a PRICE family Reunion and it would be great if
something could happen around that same time. If not an annual event would be
great since then I could take turns going to the events if I need to.

If you have not checked out this new site, you need to. They started in Oct. 99 and already have more than 14.9 million names.
The BEST thing is it's FREE!!! Add your family tree to this site for FREE.

Hey,
An old friend of mine lived in that old school house. Name of Steve Lewis.
It was hard to see from the road and I'm not sure it even exists today. It
was your typical old country school. Just thought I'd let you know.

If you have additions and or corrections please let me know.
I am only interested in info on families prior to 1850, unless they are in
our direct line.
