I am looking for anyone who is doing research on the Huston Families
that were in Henderson County in 1850. I am interested in Rufus Calvin
Huston who married a Nancy Ann Pennington. Rufus also went by R. C.
Huston. There was a group of Hustons that lived in Twp 8 N Range 4 W in
1850. I can find information on the other Huston families that lived in
the area but none of them claim Rufus. The whole Township is only six

Hi, Connie ... No one has claimed the great old photo of Violet Strand
Edmunds. She was born (per the 1900 census) in Feb 1899, to Gust and
Charlotte Strand, , who lived in Terre Haute (Henderson Co.) IL. By
the 1930 census, she was Violet Edmunds, wife of Gene Edmunds, they had
married in 1922, and she lived in Durham Twp., Hancock Co., IL. The
