Does anyone know of descendants of Thomas E. Hopper, a Baptist minister
who preached at the church near St. Elmo School in southern Jefferson
County? I think his wife might have been named Florence. If you can
help, please let me know. Thanks.
Robert

Thanks for sending this. Cecile Pasley was my maternal grandmother's (Jewell
Davis) sister.
I had planned on seeing Cecile this summer but should have gone sooner.
I have wonderful memories of time spent with her.

I don't know anything else about my Riggs family other that that my
grandmother, Ruth Ella Riggs (married to Chandler Schrum) was born on
2/14/1895 (place of birth unknown) and died 9/13/1966 in Illinois. She is
buried in the Laird Cemetery in Belle Rive, Jefferson County, Illinois.
