IF you are researching via the Historical Society website, I must warn you about Marty Crull. On his site he claimed to possess copyright over all material on the site including items in the public domain. He believes that since he has researched the information, he then owns it and no one can use it for publication.

go, our membership numbers are not bad - our only problem is there are very
few messages being posted to the list by the list members. Most of the

Thanks for the input on the Pruitt and Bradshaw
families. I already had them as I've at this for 20
years now and am trying to get some of the younger
generations connected into the family. There is still
a group in Greene County IL which appears to be
related but how is the question. I know it goes back
to James (1788-1857) Pruitt's brothers but when you
have 6 boys who name their sons after their father and
brothers you come up with so many first cousins with
the same names and have a hard time pu
Dorathea Behrens (Frederica Dorathea Behrens) married
Cosmos Keller, Sr. in ELsah in 1856. The 1870 census says
she was born in Hepen. There are 2 towns in Germany with
that name (Hepen and Heepen). A woman of the same name is
on a passenger list with an 18 yr. old George Behrens.
Interested in any clues on her family or life.
