Peggy: Are you related to Asa and Dewey BEGGS? Asa married Cordelia
"Della" WARD 1908. I am not sure if they married in Karnak, Pulaski
County, or in Massac or Johnson County, but I believe Asa's family had a
gravel pit in Karnak. Asa and Cordelia later lived (1924) in Marion,
Williamson County, Illinois. Dewey BEGGS married Lucille STATON whose 1/2
aunt was Cordelia "Della" WARD. Is this your family? If so, have you run
into the WARD family during your research?

Hello and I am seeking information on the Lawless/Lollis family of the area in the 1800's preferably but anything on this family is most welcome. Thank you Robin Holt Mccracken county KY
Thanks Larry
I took some of the Stokes material from the Stokes manuscript. Do you have
any cemetery records, obits and the photos could you scann them or somehow I
could get a copy. This actually gets more intense doing the Toler, Stokes,
because of the allied lines the Pender's , Hatltermans I relate to those
also. I must not forget the Miles families either. Thorn family there are
many connections that I have knowledge now of.

Madison and Cora were in Stone Co., AR, in 1900, living between Madison's
father, Ephraim Owens Rushing, and brother Philip M. Rushing.
Madison was born Mar 1876 AR and Cora E. May 1877 IL. They had been married 5
years, likely married in Stone Co., AR, 2 children, 1 living - Claud H.

"A family of Quarkers of North Carolina named Stokes settled several miles
east of Jonesboro in 1808" --Reynolds. This was the founding of the Stokes
family living in Union County and the western part of our county at the
present time. This was taken from the book 'A History of Johnson County,
Illinois' by Mrs. P. T. Chapman. I didn't find any more mention of the
Stokes family. I think the word 'Quarkers' was meant to be Quakers. I
guess this must have first been written by Reynolds, then quoted b

Tim, As a youth, I grew up in Grassy Precinct, Williamson County, IL. In that
community was a man named Cryrus Bloodworth. His mother was Dona Toler. I
have an idea that this family was related to your Tolers. Do you have any
connections? Cyrus had two children Virgus and Maxine. All three of them
deceased, but Virgus has children living around Hafer, Energy, Herrin,
Illinois.
Here is the lineage to the Toler family for your records of Elizabeth Cora
Kendall and Mary Ida Kendall. If you want dates for their ancestors I will
email those that request it.
Thanks for helping I wondered what happen to most of Sila's Toler's lines
apparently many moved west.
William M. Kendall was Elizabeth Cora Kendall's father as was he Mary Ida
Kendall's father. The William M. Kendall and Frances Anna Toler are the
parents. So they migrated to Arkansas also. So that is why I cant find any
