I'm looking for the father of William Perry Kennedy. His name was William H. Kennedy. W.P. was born in Hancock Co. and died in Galesburg, Knox Co.Il,. I need to know where the father died or was born. Anybody got a clue. I've checked all the surrounding counties. John Milton COMBS and Mary Ann (DAVIS) sold their land in Highland Co., Ohio and moved to Maquon, Knox Co. 1838 with their 11 children. The 1870 census says John, age 78, was a Justice of the Peace. William DARNELL and Priscilla (THURMAN) were among the first settlers in Maquon arriving about 1830 with 3 children. Ten more children were born in Maquon. Many of the sons served in the Civil War. I find a William E. mentioned several places, once in the 1870 atlas on section 19. He

I am looking for information on Samuel William Walker. Born December 7, 1835 somewhere in Illinois. He married Nancy Brockman, born April 12, 1837, somewhere in Missouri. Charles William Walker is their son, and my Greatgrandfather. Charles was born on March 12, 1862 in Knox County, Oneida, Illinois. He married Rhoda Collier in Eagletown, Indiana.
