I would like to order a birth certificate for my husband's great grandmother
who was reportedly born in Streator, LaSalle County, Illinois, according to
family records and her death certificate. I have conflicting years for
ordering birth records from LaSalle County. One source indicates that birth
records are available in LaSalle County for births beginning in 1868.
Another source says beginning in 1871. Is the current cost $7?
Is anyone familiar with ordering birth certificates for this time p

I am researching Rich family in Illinois. I recently obtained a marriage
cert for William Henry Rich and Mary Ellen Burton married in Streater. They were married Jan 24
1882. From this information I can tell that the Rich family was in La Salle
County Illinois by at least 1857. The Burtons came from England.
Williams parents are listed as something that looks like House(?) Rich and Mary Strickbine. Does any one have a connection to these people?
Also, from the marriage app I can see that William

Looking for any info on the family shown below. Specifically, I'd like to
find them in the 1900 census. Also, Edward Smith and Anna Mahaffey as
unmarried in the 1880 census. Also, I'd like to find an obit for Anna and
Edward Smith. I don't have dates, but I know Edward got married again in
1950. So, did Anna die before 1950 or did they divorce? Any help would be
appreciated.
