Hi,
Were you speaking of my signature where I placed my home page URL? The URL is
what is in between the ***'s, not including them. Just so you know, it is
only my genealogy links page and has nothing to do with the Norton Building, I
always place it after my signature. Sorry if I confused anyone.

My husband had his picture taken with Robert Wadlow in 1938 or 1937 in Carmi
Illinois...The photographer worked for the town newspaper and my husband
thinks he recall seeing the picture in the paper...
My husband is about 5' 8" and Mr Wadlow was about 8ft Tall and they wanted
someone who was much shorter to pose with him...my husband thinks Mr Wadlow
was about 25 or 26 years old then...Pat Voyles

Am looking for any information on the above people. Were
married in Stoddard Co. MO before 1914. Were in Murphys-
boro IL and went to East St. Louis. Reportedly had two
daughters maybe named Fredia and Vacal. One of the girls
apperantly married a man of Polish descent and they opened
and operated a Delicatessen/Market in East St. Louis and
it may still be in business today. Have been unable to locate
it or any of the above. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Hello everyone,
1. Could someone please look up for me the marriage date of Daniel P. BOYD
to Lizzie KNOWLES. It took place in Madison Co. (or maybe St. Clair Co.)
around 1865/75.
2. Secondly if anyone has access to death records, can you please tell me
the death date in Madison Co. (I believe) of Mary/Mamie Agnes (Boyd) SLOCUM,
their daughter. It would be around 1925/45. Her husband was Elmer E.
Slocum.
3. Lastly, if anyone can tell me the death date in Madison Co. of Thomas
Duddleston SLOCUM, Elm
I tried this e-mail address and it comes back saying there is no such
address. Can you check it again, please.
Thanks

Hello
My ACCOLA family arrived in this country in 1845 from Switzerland. They landed
in
New Orleans then came up the river to St. Louis .They finally settled in the
Highland ,Marine area.I have just begun my search for the route and ship they
came by .I was wondering if there were any other Madison County families that
arrived about this time and what ship they might have come over on.
I am also researching BOJEZAK ,HURLIMANN ,WINTER ,BATZLER ,JUON ,TRAUTNER
,GRETEFER ,in this county.
