Charles Henry Travelute came to Mason county in 1842. He was a farmer
and was married to
Margaret(Spielman)Travelute. In 1851 he moved to Ogle County and lived
there until 1866 and from there moved on to Kansas.
I live in Tennessee and do not have access to Illinois records. Charles
Henry Travelute was traveling with a family member whos last name would
have been Travelute. Would someone be kind enough to look in records you
have available there and tell me if you can find a record of another
Travelute? I

I subscribe to a few lists so I hope Mason was the one where I saw
someone interested in Probasco. Why this name sticks, is a Red Probasco
was a friend of my father's and always liked to tease me when I was
little down in Mason Co.. This is what I found the other day....
Charles W. Probasco s/o S. and E. died Sept. 23, 1858 Antioch Cem.
