My email changed to GDPreston1@comcast.net..
All that I have been able to find out about Fairview Cemetery is that it is
located in Lynchburg township. I plan on being in the area soon and am hoping
that someone can tell me approximately where this cemetery is located. Please
help!!!
SOMEWHERE, I HAVE THE MAGAZINE ARTICLE ON FAIRVIEW CEMETERY WHICH HAS
PICTURES, HISTORY, ETC. I'LL LOOK FOR IT AND SEE WHAT IT SAYS.

Don't know. I've only gotten records which are available free, ie, my
husband's as surviving spouse, my father's [Navy, which weren't destroyed]
as the child of a deceased veteran.
However, read on. According to NARA those records aren't duplicates or
copies but the following:
This source of records contains approximately 7.8 million summaries for
admissions to medical treatment facilities. They contain limited medical
information which may be sufficient to support certain claims for veterans'
benefits
Here is a gazetteer that might be helpful, particularly outside the US. It
is by no means complete but it does have quite a bit.

Here's a site on archaic medical terms:

If your ancestor worked for the railroad you might find some information at
this US Government site:

Unfortunately, in my copy of the cemetery book that
the LDS printed in 1986, Lynchburg township was left
out. Hope someone else has a copy that can give you
directions.

This was forwarded to me by Kathy Willett.
MILITARY RECORDS DISCOVERED
The Veteran's Administration has reported discovering 10 million duplicates
of 20th Century Military Records. There records were thought to have been
destroyed in a 1973 fire, which wiped out most Army records from 1912 to
1960 and most Air Force records from 1947 to 1964. If you need records that
you were told were burned, you may contact: Veterans Personnel Records, GSA,
St. Louis MO 63132.

The 1986 LDS book says:
The Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in the NE corner of
Section 15, Lynchburg Township.
You could try phoning the Methodist Church in Havana. They might be able to
help you. Phone: 309-543-4725.

Using the plat map, I think I can get you a little
closer.
Go south out of Havana on Rt. 78 thru Bath to the road
for Saidora (300N) but turn west. Comparing the 1976
plat map I have with a the Illinois county Atlas &
Gazetter, it looks like it is just south of the corner
of 800E and 300N.
