Hi Marilyn,
It is me the "other Gibbs". I have Sophronia Gibbs married Jefferson
Goodpasture. Would a Jefferson be one of the persons buried there? I lost
track of Sophronia and Jefferson after they left Petersburg ( so I thought
they left).
How was your trip? Would love to hear about it.

Hi,
Wednesday's history post mentioned the name of Travis
Elmore, who served in the Black Hawk War under Abraham
Lincoln. Would be interested in hearing from anyone
from the Elmore family. I am not directly related to
Travis, although I am trying to place/prove all the

Also of particular interest in the Elmore line is

Someone on one of the lists was researching Goodpasture - I looked
something up for them also - it's like "senior moments" have hit!
Anyway, while I was in Spfld./Petersburg a month ago, I took some
pictures at the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Sweetwater and there were
several Goodpasture stones there - so I took some of those too.
If the Goodpasture people see this, email me and I'll be glad to send
you the pictures.
