A Tribute to our Ancestors on this day of Thanksgiving.

OFTEN we may wish for different ones and feel moved to deny the ones we

I have uploaded most of my database on the Bradley family to:
http://www.rafert.org/Bradley/index.htm
The information centers around Joshua Bradley (c1769-1839) who brought
his family to Jackson and Randolph County in 1817. Joshua had numerous
descendants who lived in Jackson, Randolph, and Perry Counties in IL as
well as other places. If you have any information on the family that
you are willing to share please let me know. Thanks.

I have recently added some more photos to my website at:
http://www.rafert.org/Schuette/Schuette.htm
The surnames that I can identify are SCHUETTE, HARTEL, LAMPE, and KNOP.
The families were, like most of my families, from the area where Randolph
County, Perry County, and Jackson County meet. Please let me know if you
know any of these folks.

Thank you ...thank you. I found my gggrandfather and his family on the
recently posted 1860 census! Can someone tell me what the number before
the surname indicates? Is it the page number or the dwelling number? I'm
almost too excited to wait until my local FHC can order the microfilm.

Hi. I have subbed for, basically, just this one post. The reason is
that I ***do not*** connect to the Illinois DeROUSSE lines. Yet, I am
currently pursuing the likelihood that it connects ***overseas***
in olden times, back in France and that area called Alsace-Lorraine.
I have the Philadelphia Branch, which may even be extinct at this time.
The advantage I have is that thanks to the Alsace-Lorraine list, I
have obtained data back two generations into Alsace-Lorraine, including
