1. [ILSCOTT] Young [1]
My grGrandfather William and Fanny (Frances) Young lived in Scott County. In the 1850 census they had at least 6 children: Jesse William (Bill); Irwin; Robert; Almina; Campbell; and Deliah. I believe there were other children born to this family before William died in 1855. I believe Fanny (Frances) remarried a Wiley Moore possibly of Alsey. Where should I search for further information Jeanne jeannem@hypertech.net

13. LOOKUP?? [1]
Hi List, Is there someone who can do a lookup for me? I would like information on Hazel SAVAGE. He died in Scott Co. on 17 May 1901. First, I'd like to know if there might be an obit for him. Also, would someone be able to tell me what the 1900 census says about him (and family?). Thanks so much! Cheryl, http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilscott/cemeteries/McCaleb.txt Have you checked this URL for cemetery listings.....there is a John Thompson who died 1876, I believe and a Sarah as well as a child or two. Thanks for the kind words re MAGA site, credit also goes to Shirley, who has done a magnificent job on transcribing the census for the site, as well as many, many other resources, including the Scott County cemetery listings on the Scott Co ILGenWeb site. I would imagine that sometime in the future the 1880 Scott will be on the MAGA site, too. In the meantime I searched and found two John Thompson listings and one Sarah listed only with children. Perhaps this is the right Sarah below? Good luck,
